Iya Miteva
Schroth Therapist, Kinesitherapist
In 2023, I graduated from South-West University in Blagoevgrad with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesitherapy. During my studies, I completed additional courses in Ergon therapy and kinesiology taping for the upper and lower quadrants.
I have experience in the field of high-tech physiotherapy and balneotherapy, as well as in developing kinesitherapy programs and conducting group and individual sessions aimed at the prevention and treatment of post-traumatic, pre- and post-operative, and chronic conditions. I also have experience in full-body toning workouts.
Through my practice, I have come to understand that developing postural control is key to improving quality of life. My interest in spinal deformities began in high school, when I discovered that I myself had scoliosis. In Schroth therapy, I found a combination of purpose, logic, dedication, and results. Since 2024, I have been a certified Schroth therapist, eager to continue developing and building upon my knowledge and skills.
